About Us
Our Story
It started with a conversation between two friends who shared a love of the open road and a frustration with the small things that get in the way of enjoying it. Curtis had the idea. Anthony had the tools to bring it to life. And what began as a simple solution to make Winnebago van life a little more convenient quickly grew into something bigger than either of them expected.
As the product took shape and the vision expanded, Mitch came on board to help turn a great idea into a real company. Together the three of them formed RV Crafters, a small team of road lovers, makers, and builders united by a simple belief: the people who live and travel in their rigs deserve products designed specifically for them, by people who get it.
RV Crafters is just getting started.
Meet the Team
Curtis Perlman
Curtis Perlman grew up with a love of music, open roads, and the sense of community that comes from sharing the journey. A lifelong road tripper and vehicle enthusiast, he has always appreciated the machines that make travel possible, from a beloved Volkswagen bus to his current home away from home, a Winnebago Travato.
Curtis brings genuine enthusiasm, a community-first perspective, and a clear understanding of what RV owners actually want. As the voice of RV Crafters, he stays closely connected to the RV and van-life communities, listening to fellow travelers, gathering feedback, and helping ensure every product solves a real problem and improves life on the road.
When he is not traveling or talking shop with fellow enthusiasts, he is probably planning the next trip, spending time with family, or finding an excuse to get behind the wheel.
Anthony Wedyck
Anthony spent the better part of two decades putting family first, stepping away from a career as a mental health specialist working with troubled teens to become a stay-at-home father for 18 years. When life took an unexpected turn and he needed to rapidly re-skill and re-enter the workforce, he taught himself 3D modeling, FDM manufacturing, and machine maintenance from the ground up.
A constant need to learn, explore, and create led him to take on Curtis's request for a custom switch plate, designing, modeling, prototyping, testing, and producing it. He now handles the design and manufacturing side of RV Crafters, and tinkers on a plethora of pet product design projects on the side, with a long-term dream of developing his own table-top and card games.
When he's not in the shop, Anthony is usually outdoors, kayak camping, backpacking, or riding one-wheeled vehicles wherever the trail allows. He's family oriented above all else, and when they sit down together, it's almost always over table-top game and good conversation.
Mitchell Furlett
Mitchell Furlett is the kind of person who makes things happen. With a track record of helping build and grow businesses from the ground up, Mitch brings the organizational backbone and follow-through that turns good ideas into real companies.
As the operational heart of RV Crafters, he is the connective tissue between vision and execution, the one making sure the pieces come together and the wheels stay on, pun intended.
When he is not building something, Mitch is probably on the road, sleeping under the stars, tending his garden, or surrounded by family and animals. He believes the best life is one lived close to the things that matter, and that the open road has a way of reminding you what those things are.
