About Us

Our Story

It started with a conversation between two friends who shared a love of the open road and a frustration with the small things that get in the way of enjoying it. Curtis had the idea. Anthony had the tools. And what began as a simple solution to make Winnebago van life a little more convenient quickly grew into something bigger than either of them expected.

As the product took shape and the vision expanded, Mitch came on board to help turn a great idea into a real company. Together the three of them formed RV Crafters, a small team of road lovers, makers, and builders united by a simple belief: the people who live and travel in their rigs deserve products designed specifically for them, by people who get it.

RV Crafters is just getting started.

Meet the Team

Curtis Perlman

Curtis Perlman grew up at the intersection of music, open roads, and the kind of community that only forms when people share a love of going somewhere together. A lifelong road tripper and car enthusiast, Curtis spent years cultivating a deep appreciation for the vehicles that make the journey possible, graduating from a beloved VW bus to his current home away from home, a Winnebago Travato.

A proud Purdue grad and dedicated single father, Curtis brings the same energy to RV Crafters that he brings to everything else: genuine enthusiasm, a community-first mindset, and an eye for what fellow travelers actually want. As the voice of the brand, he is the one out there in the RV and van life world listening, connecting, and making sure every RV Crafters product lands in the hands of people who will love it.

When he is not on the road or talking shop with fellow enthusiasts, he is probably planning his next trip.

Mitchell Furlett

Mitchell Furlett is the kind of person who makes things happen. With a track record of helping build and grow businesses from the ground up, Mitch brings the organizational backbone and follow-through that turns good ideas into real companies.

As the operational heart of RV Crafters, he is the connective tissue between vision and execution, the one making sure the pieces come together and the wheels stay on, pun intended.

When he is not building something, Mitch is probably on the road, sleeping under the stars, tending his garden, or surrounded by family and animals. He believes the best life is one lived close to the things that matter, and that the open road has a way of reminding you what those things are.
